Stellantis launches €60 bn FaSTLane 2030 plan to roll out 60 new models

Stellantis announced a five‑year FaSTLane 2030 strategy that allocates €60 billion (about R$350 billion) in investments, an amount equivalent to roughly 20 % of Portugal’s GDP. The plan targets the launch of 60 new vehicles and 50 significant updates across its brand portfolio, including 29 battery‑electric cars, 15 plug‑in or extended‑range hybrids, 24 hybrid‑electric models and 39 mild‑hybrid or conventional combustion‑engine models.

Seventy percent of the funding will be directed toward four global brands—Jeep, Ram, Peugeot and Fiat—while the remaining brands are classified as regional or historic. A new modular platform, STLA One, will underpin more than 30 models and support over 2 million vehicles by 2035. Complementary technology initiatives include the STLA Brain computing architecture, the STLA SmartCockpit interface and the STLA AutoDrive autonomous‑driving system, all slated for introduction by 2027.

The investment split assigns €24 billion to research, development and capex for platforms, powertrains and new technologies. Stellantis also announced partnerships with Chinese firms Leapmotor and Dongfeng, Indian conglomerate Tata, and Jaguar Land Rover, among others, to expand production and engineering capabilities worldwide. The company aims to raise revenue from €154 billion in 2025 to €190 billion by 2030, positioning the plan as a driver of long‑term profitable growth.
