Stellantis expands global reach with China JV and South Korean showroom
Stellantis is expanding its global footprint through strategic partnerships and new retail infrastructure. In China, the company has established a 8.2 billion yuan ($1.2 billion) joint venture with Dongfeng, named Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroen Automotive Technology Co. This partnership, based in Wuhan, aims to leverage Chinese electric vehicle technology to manufacture and export electrified Jeep and Peugeot models to global markets starting in 2027.
In South Korea, Stellantis is strengthening its commercial presence by opening a new Stellantis Brand House in Seoul. Located in the Gangnam and Seocho areas, the 641-square-meter showroom co-locates Jeep and Peugeot brands under one roof. Managed by KCC Mobility, this facility is part of a broader strategy to expand the company’s network to 14 showrooms in the country by 2027.
