Stellantis manages Italian production with new labor agreements

Stellantis is implementing various labor and production measures across its Italian manufacturing sites to manage fluctuating production volumes.

At the Termoli plant, a new solidarity contract has been reached involving 1,721 workers. This measure, effective from August 31 until August 29, 2027, aims to protect employment levels by reducing working hours in response to complex production phases. The agreement ensures that workers' rights and economic benefits are maintained regardless of the actual number of days worked in a month.

In other regions, production is resuming at the Pomigliano d’Arco and Mirafiori plants following the summer break. At Pomigliano, 3,750 employees are subject to a solidarity contract due to slowing volumes of the Panda model. The site is also preparing for the E-Car platform for compact electric vehicles starting in 2028. At Mirafiori, focus remains on the Fiat 500 hybrid and electric versions, with long-term plans including battery updates and new model generations.
