UBS downgraded Stellantis to a neutral rating and cut the 12‑month target price by roughly 40 % to €5.80, citing weak North‑American margins, high inventory levels and the risk of production curtailments in the third quarter. The bank trimmed its adjusted operating‑profit outlook to €3 billion for 2026 (1.9 % margin) and €4.7 billion for 2027 (2.9 % margin). In August 2026 Mutares, a German private‑equity firm, agreed to acquire the whole Free2Move car‑sharing business, covering its fleet in 14 European and U.S. cities.
