Stellantis to revive Chrysler with new models built on European platforms

Stellantis plans to revive the Chrysler brand, which has gone a decade without a new model, by using shared platforms and powertrains from its European subsidiaries. The company’s strategic roadmap foresees up to three new Chrysler models by 2030. While the Airflow, based on the STLA One platform, is slated for a later release, the Arrow and Arrow Cross crossovers could appear sooner, likely equipped with larger engines than their European counterparts.

The upcoming models are expected to be built on the architecture used for the Alfa Romeo Giulia‑derived Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback. Pricing is projected to start around $31,000 (approximately 650,000 Czech crowns). Stellantis hopes the new line‑up will attract US buyers after the under‑performing Dodge Hornet, which was previously based on the Alfa Romeo Tonale, failed to meet sales expectations.
