Stellar Blade demo released for Nintendo Switch 2

Shift Up has released a free playable demo for the Stellar Blade Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop. The demo allows players to experience the early stages of the game, controlling the character EVE in a mission on a world ravaged by Naytiba.

The full Complete Edition is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026, in some regions, and November 6, 2026, in others, including Japan and Korea. This version includes previously released content from the NieR and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaborations.

To coincide with the Switch 2 launch, Shift Up is also releasing a free Bayonetta collaboration DLC. This update features four new costumes for EVE: Bayonetta, Nun, Jeanne, and Black Tresses. The DLC will be available on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Technically, the Switch 2 version aims for 60 frames per second in both handheld and docked modes, utilizing NVIDIA DLSS for resolution upscaling and AMD FSR 3.1 for frame interpolation. The digital version of the Complete Edition is approximately 25.1 GB.
