Inaba noted that while PlatinumGames does not yet have a title for the Nintendo Switch 2, he believes the hardware has ‘so much potential’ and possesses ‘enormous potential’ to enhance player enjoyment.

Inaba also commented on the future of the Bayonetta franchise following the 2023 departure of creator Hideki Kamiya, expressing a “strong desire to continue developing the character of Bayonetta and expand her world”, though he declined to provide specific project details. Meanwhile, players using the Switch 2 demo have noted gameplay challenges, though analysis suggests upgrading equipment like the ‘Reflex Exospine’ can assist with combat mechanics.
