Stellar Blade release date set for Nintendo Switch 2

Shift Up has announced that Stellar Blade is scheduled to release for the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. This follows a previous confirmation of the title during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year.

Early impressions from Gamescom gameplay sessions indicate that the port maintains the responsive combat and precise timing found in the PlayStation 5 version. Technical specifications for the handheld mode target a 720p resolution, while docked mode aims for 1080p. While aggressive upscaling is used, some graphical artifacts may appear in fine details.

The Switch 2 version includes several platform-specific features, such as support for new Joy-Con 2 motion controls for increased immersion, optimized gyro and menu controls, and the use of the console's touch display for specific in-game interactions like entering codes.
