Stevie Wonder releases new EP for Songs in the Key of Life 50th anniversary

Stevie Wonder has released a four-song EP to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his landmark album, “Songs in the Key of Life”. The EP features previously unreleased recordings from the original 1970s studio sessions.

The new tracks are titled “It’s Easier,” “My Life Story of Love,” “I Can See the Sun in Late December,” and “I’m Into Livin’.” These songs were recorded between 1974 and 1976 during the album's creation but were not included in the original release.

The recordings were personally curated by Wonder and recently mixed by the album’s original engineers, John Fischbach and Gary Olazabal (credited on the original LP as Gary O Adante). Wonder noted that while the songs were not added to the original album, they represented his musical discoveries during that era.
