Stidda collaborator confesses to multiple murders

A judicial collaborator, Giuseppe Cavallo, has provided detailed testimony regarding various murders linked to the Stidda criminal organization. In statements dated November 11, 2024, Cavallo admitted to being the material executor of the 2002 murder of Angelo Rolletto, alongside his cousin Nunzio. He stated the killing was motivated by internal disagreements regarding theft and unauthorized activities.

Cavallo also detailed the attempted murder of Carmelo Raniolo, claiming he issued the order for the attack after Raniolo opposed a relationship between a gang member and his daughter. Additionally, the collaborator provided information regarding the 1997 murder of Martinez, a youth within their group, which reportedly caused tension within the Dominante clan due to disputes over funds allocated to prisoners.
