Notably, a 24-euro model outperformed a 179-euro version in sleep quality. The testing included various brands such as Emma, Ikea, and Zelesta, as well as models designed for use without covers.
In the mattress category, Lidl’s 'Livarno Comfort Plus' foam mattress was named a price tip. Priced at 129 euros, it received an overall rating of 2.1 ('Gut') and was found suitable for all seven body types tested. Additionally, Vita D'or pure rapeseed oil received a 'Gut' rating (1.9) for its chemical quality and heat stability, achieving a 'Sehr gut' (Very Good) score in sensory testing.
