Stipe Čogelja endorses HDZ-DP list for Split 3 elections

Stipe Čogelja, Deputy Prefect of Split-Dalmatia County, has issued a statement of support for the joint HDZ and Domovinski pokret list ahead of the upcoming local elections for the Split 3 City District, scheduled for September 27.

Reflecting on 12 years of involvement in the district, Čogelja emphasized that local politics serves as a vital training ground for public service, teaching politicians to listen to citizens, address communal issues, and work for the public interest without compensation. He highlighted recent developments in the Ruđera Boškovića Street area, including contributions from the University of Split, the Split-Dalmatia County Center of Excellence, and Digital Dalmatia.

Čogelja noted that while new gallery spaces, educational programs, and health facilities have brought new energy to the district, they have also increased parking challenges. He also mentioned the upcoming opening of a mental health center for children and adolescents as a key upcoming development.
