Stockard Channing attends ‘Practical Magic 2’ premiere in London

Actress Stockard Channing made a rare public appearance at the European premiere of ‘Practical Magic 2’ at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London. The event marked Channing’s first red carpet outing in two years.

Channing reprises her role as Aunt Frances Owens, reuniting with original cast members Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, and Dianne Wiest. Channing noted that working with the original cast felt seamless, stating, “We're back like we had never left each other, which is kind of extraordinary.” She specifically highlighted her long-standing chemistry with Dianne Wiest, describing their collaboration as “silk off a spool.”

The sequel follows the Owens family as they confront a dark curse. The film is scheduled to reach theaters on September 11.
