UK police make arrests and impose orders amid local crime incidents

Police in Bristol arrested two teenagers as part of an investigation into a spate of motorbike thefts across the city, urging the public to report any suspicious activity via 999 or 101.

In Marton, Teesside, two men aged 22 and 48 were detained on suspicion of aggravated burglary after a house on Cambridge Avenue was broken into on the evening of 20 June. Officers appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Staffordshire police issued Section 34 dispersal orders covering Meir Heath, Stone and Stafford town centre for the weekend of 20‑21 June, aiming to curb anti‑social behaviour and other criminal activity in those hotspots.

Greater Manchester Police imposed a Section 60 stop‑search order in Whalley Range following a disturbance outside William Hulme’s Grammar School on 19 June. No arrests have been made yet, and investigations and witness interviews continue.
