Various Halloween and storytelling events scheduled across France and Morocco

Multiple regions are hosting seasonal festivities, including Halloween celebrations and storytelling festivals.

In France, various municipalities have organized Halloween activities. Montauban features costume contests, museum investigations, and creative workshops. Agde is hosting a family event at Place du Jeu-de-Ballon with makeup stands and hip-hop demonstrations. Gravelines is presenting an immersive haunted fairground experience with an escape game for both families and teenagers. In the Elbeuf agglomeration, activities include pumpkin sculpting, board game sessions, and a dedicated Halloween house.

In Morocco, the Institut français du Maroc is presenting ‘La Nuit de l’Horreur,’ a horror cinema cycle across nine cities, including Casablanca, Marrakech, and Rabat. The program features international and Moroccan films such as ‘Hôtel de la paix’ and ‘Sanguine.’

Storytelling festivals are also scheduled. The Contes d’automne festival will take place in the Oise department throughout November, featuring various performers. Additionally, the ‘Aux 4 coins du conte’ festival is bringing oral storytelling to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, including a performance in Trévoux. In the Lyon metropolitan area, the Compagnie Sac à Son will host ‘Lâchers de conteurs’ in Champagne au Mont d’Or and Dardilly, offering storytelling sessions in schools, markets, and libraries.
