Stratford Police seize $37,000 in drugs and weapons in multi‑jurisdictional sting

Ontario’s Stratford Police Service Street Crime Unit concluded its "Project Carlos" investigation with six arrests and the seizure of more than $37,000 worth of controlled substances, firearms and cash. The operation, which began in the spring, led to arrests of individuals in Stratford and London, including a 37‑year‑old man who later cut off his ankle monitor and fled.

Police recovered crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, hydromorphone, codeine and clonazepam pills, as well as a crossbow, arrows and a replica BB pistol. The raid involved Stratford police, the London Police Service’s Emergency Response Unit, Guns and Gangs Unit, MSU and uniform officers, who executed three search warrants in London homes. The total street value of the drugs seized was estimated at $37,634. Authorities highlighted the investigation as an example of effective inter‑agency collaboration to combat drug trafficking in the region.
