Strictly Come Dancing 2026 adds Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem and Chris Appleton

The BBC's flagship ballroom competition Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed four new celebrity contestants for its 2026 series. Actress Lacey Turner, best known for her long‑running role on EastEnders, Love Island winner Dani Dyer, Australian singer‑actress Delta Goodrem, and world‑renowned hair stylist Chris Appleton have all signed up to take part.

Turner said she was "so excited" yet "terrified" about joining the dance floor, while Dyer expressed being "over the moon" for a second chance after withdrawing last year. Goodrem highlighted that she has never stepped onto a ballroom floor before and is thrilled to do so. Appleton added, "I'm thrilled to be joining Strictly Come Dancing and coming home to the UK for this incredible experience. I may know my way around a salon floor, but the dance floor is a whole different story – and I can't wait to get started."
