Strictly Come Dancing 2026 Unveils New Hosts and Celebrity Line‑up

Emma Willis will join professional dancer Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe as the new presenting trio for Strictly Come Dancing's 2026 season, replacing long‑time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman after their departures at the end of the 2025 series.

The BBC has also been adding celebrities to the 24th season. Confirmed participants include EastEnders star Lacey Turner, Australian singer‑songwriter Delta Goodrem, returning Love Island alum Dani Dyer, and celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton. A further report suggests veteran actress Melanie Walters, known for Gavin & Stacey, has signed up as a contestant. Turner said, “I am so excited to be making my way to the dance floor this year,” while Dyer added, “I can’t wait to get my dancing shoes back on.”

These announcements come as the show prepares for its first series without Daly and Winkleman, aiming to maintain audience interest with a refreshed host lineup and a diverse celebrity roster.
