Strictly Come Dancing overhauls 2026 lineup with new presenters and dancers

The BBC has announced that the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing will be led by a new presenting trio—Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe—replacing long‑time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. In addition, the show will introduce five new professional dancers after a recent reduction in its dance troupe.

Former professional dancer Brendan Cole, who appeared on the programme from 2004 to 2017, publicly criticised the presenter changes, saying the new lineup lacks the "class" of the late Bruce Forsyth and suggesting Anton du Beke would have been a better host. Meanwhile, the celebrity contestant roster for the upcoming season has been revealed, featuring EastEnders star Lacey Turner, former Love Island participant Dani Dyer, and Australian singer‑actress Delta Goodrem, among others.
