Strictly Come Dancing overhauls hosts and adds five new professional dancers

The BBC has appointed comedian Ellie Taylor to present the spin‑off series It Takes Two, replacing former hosts Janette Manrara and Fleur East. Taylor, a 2022 contestant on Strictly, will join the presenting team alongside new main‑show hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe, following the departure of long‑standing presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

In addition, the programme will feature five new professional dancers for the upcoming series. Among them are 22‑year‑old Ukrainian Latin champion Aleksandra Isaeva, who now lives in Italy, and her partner Cristian Priori, a four‑time Italian Latin champion. The new cohort also includes other young dancers who will replace the five professionals who quit before the new season.

These changes mark a major revamp of the popular dance competition, aiming to refresh both the on‑screen talent and the choreography for the next broadcast season.
