Studeniçan Municipality Forms Damage Assessment Commission After Skopje Storm

A powerful storm that swept Skopje caused material damage across several municipalities, including Studeniçan. Strong winds toppled trees, damaged house roofs and triggered power outages, while agricultural assets such as greenhouses and crops suffered notable losses.

Studeniçan mayor Ejup Abazi said the damage in the municipality was limited but significant for farmers, and announced the creation of a commission to document all losses on the ground. The commission will compile reports for the relevant ministries, and the municipal budget will be examined for possible compensation, with additional aid sought from central government agencies.
