Students and trainees participate in drone piloting competitions and specialized training

Students from the Technical University in Zvolen, specifically from the Faculty of Forestry, participated in the V4UAVchallenge in Międzybrodzie Bialskie, Poland. This international competition, supported by the International Visegrad Fund, brought together 48 students from nine universities across the Visegrad Group to demonstrate skills in piloting First Person View (FPV) drones across eight disciplines.

In the Czech Republic, the organization Strong Europe, in collaboration with the Aeroscan drone school, is conducting an intensive three-week training course focused on combat-style drone operations. The curriculum, which includes eight hours of daily instruction, utilizes practical insights from Ukrainian partners to teach participants how to navigate FPV drones under heavy loads and in conditions distinct from commercial drone use. Training roles include piloting, navigation, and observation.
