Students in Argentina participate in sports and environmental debates

Various student-led initiatives and debates are taking place across Argentina. In Formosa, the Federación de Centros de Estudiantes Secundarios (FeCES) organized a mass student marathon and relay race at the Costanera Vuelta Fermoza. The event, part of the “Septiembre Joven 2026” celebrations, saw participation from secondary students in the capital and surrounding areas like Colonia Pastoril and Mojón de Fierro.

In Luján, more than 120 students from public and private schools participated in a Pre-Youth Parliament session held at the Universidad Nacional de Luján. The session focused on regional environmental issues, allowing students to debate and prepare for a district-level meeting scheduled for late September at the Luján Deliberative Council.
