Sturno resident returns found money to local police

A young man in Sturno, Italy, has received community praise after finding a sum of money on the street and turning it in to the local Municipal Police. The individual chose to hand over the funds without seeking any reward or revealing his identity.

Sturno Mayor Vito Di Leo issued an official notice to facilitate the return of the money, stating that anyone who lost the funds must provide necessary details to the police to prove ownership. The Mayor commended the young man, describing the act as a sign of “honesty, respect and civic sense” and a positive example for younger generations.
