Haider, who resides in a tent near the station, was unable or unwilling to explain the source of the briefcase during questioning. Marco Dal Pont, the City Councilor for Social Affairs, noted that Haider is a well-known figure in the community who has previously declined various offers of housing and food assistance. The funds are currently being held by the Belluno City Council as authorities investigate the origin of the money.
