Sud chiama Nord expands political presence in Avellino

The political movement Sud chiama Nord held a convention in Avellino to consolidate its organizational structure within the Irpinia region of Campania. The event, attended by local administrators and political figures, marked the movement's official expansion into the area.

Cateno De Luca, the movement's founder, participated via videoconference. He described the event as a fundamental step for the group's territorial rooting and noted that the organization is expanding beyond Sicily, having previously established a presence in Naples. De Luca emphasized the importance of local administrators and stated that the movement is currently evaluating its future political alliances, without committing to either the center-right or center-left coalitions.

Other key figures present included Laura Castelli, president of Sud chiama Nord and former Deputy Minister of Economy, and Raffaele Colucci, the Irpinia regional representative and former mayor of Sirignano. The convention focused on strengthening local groups and increasing the movement's political weight through territorial organization.
