Sukiya and Tully's Coffee launch seasonal sweet potato shakes in Japan

Japanese food chains Sukiya and Tully's Coffee are introducing seasonal sweet potato-themed beverages for the autumn season.

Sukiya will launch its ‘Suki Shake Roasted Sweet Potato’ on September 8, 2026. The drink features vanilla shake paired with a sauce made from Beni Haruka sweet potatoes from Ibaraki Prefecture, topped with crunchy imokenpi (sweet potato sticks) pieces. Prices range from 210 to 350 yen depending on size.

Tully's Coffee is running a limited-time ‘OIMO Shake’ promotion from September 2 to September 15, 2026. The campaign features regional variations across eight areas in Japan. For example, the Chugoku-Shikoku region offers a shake using Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes from Tokushima Prefecture, featuring a topping of simmered sweet potato and sweet potato whip.
