Sultanbeyli launches interest‑free 445‑unit housing project
The Sultanbeyli municipality announced the Sulkent housing scheme, offering 445 apartments and 13 commercial units in the Battalgazi neighbourhood. The development covers about 16,000 m² and is financed without interest: buyers pay 30 % up‑front and the remaining balance in equal installments over 30 months, with no commissions or inflation‑linked charges. Applications are accepted online from 19 June to 30 June, and the allocation draw will be held in a notary office on 4 July. The project is a joint effort between the municipality’s subsidiary Sulkon and Luxera GYO, and is situated near the North Marmara Highway and local amenities such as parks, schools, health centres and cultural facilities.
The scheme aims to make home ownership accessible for residents by eliminating conventional lending interest, providing a fixed‑payment plan and limiting the down‑payment requirement. Applicants must submit a 10,000 TL application fee, which is refunded if they are not selected in the draw.
