Sultanbeyli's SULKENT Housing Project Announces Winners
The Sultanbeyli municipality, through its subsidiary SULKON and developer Luxera GYO, held a notarised lottery to select beneficiaries for the SULKENT housing project. The ceremony, streamed live, was attended by Mayor Ali Tombaş, AK Party officials and the Istanbul Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change director.
SULKENT comprises 445 apartments and 13 commercial units offered on an interest‑free, zero‑rate financing scheme with a 30% down‑payment and the remaining 70% paid in fixed installments. Units are to be handed over 30 months after allocation. Officials highlighted the project's role in providing safe, affordable housing in the aftermath of the February 6 earthquakes and pledged similar initiatives in the district.
The lottery results mark the first allocation of the project, which aims to set a model for accessible, high‑quality urban development in Istanbul.
