Sumac prices in Batman expected to drop due to high yields

Sumac prices in Batman are expected to decrease in the upcoming season due to increased production. Local merchant Vasfi Gültekin noted that abundant rainfall this year has positively impacted yields compared to the previous year, when low rainfall resulted in limited supply.

While current prices for existing stock are around 450 lira per kilogram, Gültekin anticipates that the new, more plentiful harvest will drive prices down to 350 lira or even lower.
