Sumedang Vice Regent faces investigation over sexual assault allegations
An investigation has been launched into allegations of sexual harassment, confinement, and physical assault involving the Vice Regent of Sumedang, M Fajar Aldila. The victim, identified as RY, a personal secretary to the Vice Regent, reported that the incidents occurred at the official residence.
The allegations suggest that the Vice Regent, his wife ADO, and a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) identified as FPN were involved in the reported misconduct. The victim has reportedly provided medical evidence and photographic documentation to authorities.
In response to the growing public concern, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has established a provincial investigation team. The goal of this team is to conduct an objective inquiry into the matter to ensure the findings are based on facts rather than public speculation or opinion.
