Sun Phu Quoc Airways expands tourism and sustainable fuel partnerships in Vietnam

On 18 June, travel operator Lữ hành Việt and Sun Phu Quoc Airways held the "Phu Quoc Beyond Paradise – Một hành trình, Chung tầm nhìn" forum in Hanoi. The event announced a 50,000‑ticket combo aimed at boosting the Hanoi‑Phu Quoc market and a broader travel ecosystem that links air transport, accommodation, MICE, golf and other services. A discounted 4‑day, 3‑night package was introduced, lowering the price by about VND 600,000 to roughly VND 5 million per guest. The partnership is positioned as a driver for Phú Quốc’s growth ahead of APEC 2027.

A day later, Petrolimex Aviation and Sun Phu Quoc Airways convened a specialised aviation‑fuel conference titled "Nâng tầm hợp tác: An toàn, Chất lượng và Hiệu quả trong cung ứng nhiên liệu hàng không". The two firms signed a memorandum of understanding on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), pledging to cut carbon emissions and support Vietnam’s net‑zero target for 2050, as outlined at COP26. Speakers highlighted safety and quality standards in fuel supply, and outlined plans for expanding domestic and international routes.

Both initiatives underscore Sun Phu Quoc Airways’ strategy to strengthen Vietnam’s tourism appeal and advance greener aviation practices.
