Sundai Education Center to host Edu NEXT series in Japan

The Sundai Education Center has announced the second installment of its “Edu NEXT — New Learning and Educator Community” event series. Scheduled for November 2026, the hybrid event will take place in Fukuoka, Miyagi, and Chiba, with online streaming available for remote participants.

The series aims to address educational reform and next-generation ICT deployment strategies, specifically focusing on the GIGA School Programme and upcoming revisions to National Curriculum Standards. The sessions will feature keynote addresses from Mayumi Hosada, a school digital transformation strategy advisor to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), regarding the adoption of generative AI.

Targeting school administrators, teachers, and board of education members, the events will also include English teaching specialists to demonstrate classroom technology integration and practical ICT services for school environments.
