Sungrow Leads Wood Mackenzie Global BESS and PV Inverter Rankings

Wood Mackenzie’s 2025 global assessments placed Chinese renewable‑energy firm Sungrow at the top of two key rankings: integrators of battery‑energy‑storage‑system (BESS) solutions and manufacturers of photovoltaic (PV) inverters. The evaluations considered technology maturity, research‑and‑development investment, product safety, supply‑chain resilience, ESG performance and financial strength. The BESS ranking, published for the first time, noted that worldwide BESS installations surpassed 100 GW in 2025, highlighting the growing importance of storage for flexible power systems. Sungrow also received a Grade‑A rating for its PV inverters. "The award underscores Sungrow's strong position in a rapidly growing global energy market," said Moritz Rolf, Vice President of Sungrow Europe.
