Sunny Hostin faces potential lawsuit from friends of Nolan Wells

Attorneys representing three friends of the late Nolan Wells have issued a pre-suit demand letter to ‘The View’ co-host Sunny Hostin, alleging defamation. The legal notice demands that Hostin retract, delete, and apologize for comments made during a July broadcast regarding the death of the 18-year-old college football player.

Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour—who were with Wells on a boating trip near Horn Island, Mississippi, before his body was found—claim Hostin’s remarks effectively linked them to criminal activity, including murder and evidence tampering. Their lawyers stated that the trio cooperated with law enforcement, turned over their phones, and have never been arrested or charged in connection with the case.

Hostin has been given 10 days to comply with the demands or face legal action. While authorities believe Wells’ death was a drowning and do not suspect foul play, official autopsy results have not yet been made public.
