Hostin has been given 10 days to retract, delete, and apologize for the comments or face legal action. While authorities believe Wells’ death was a drowning and do not suspect foul play, official autopsy results have not been made public. Separately, civil rights attorney Ben Crump is representing the parents of Nolan Wells in an independent investigation into his death.
