Bulgaria weather forecast: Cooling trend and rain expected

Bulgaria is set to experience a dynamic shift in weather conditions starting late October. Initially, the country will see sunny intervals with morning fog in lowland areas. However, a cold air mass from the northwest is expected to move in, leading to a significant drop in temperatures.

By the middle of the week, temperatures are projected to fall, with minimums reaching between 1°C and 6°C. While Tuesday and Wednesday may see clearer skies and more sun in some regions, fog will likely persist in river valleys and basins in Western Bulgaria.

A more significant weather shift is anticipated toward the end of the week. Increased cloud cover and rain are expected to move from west to east, with a higher probability of heavy precipitation occurring over the weekend. In mountainous regions, particularly above 2400 meters, snow is possible during these periods of instability.
