Sunseeker Holiday Homes ceases trading after entering administration

Sunseeker Holiday Homes, a UK-based manufacturer of holiday homes and lodges, has ceased trading after entering administration. The company, which was founded in March 2019, reported approximately 80 job losses due to the closure.

The company faced cash flow difficulties attributed to rising costs, funding requirements for stock, and wage pressures. It was also reportedly impacted by larger competitors who were able to sell existing stock at marginal losses. Frazer Ulrick of Westgates Restructuring Limited has been appointed as the administrator. A sales process is currently underway for the company's brand and its manufacturing site located in Hull.
