Sunseeker International launches Sunseeker Europe after distributor administration

Sunseeker International has launched Sunseeker Europe to manage distribution, service, and warranty support across European and international territories. This strategic shift follows notices of intention to appoint administrators for Sunseeker London and Sunseeker Poole (SSL), which previously served as the manufacturer's independent distributors.

SSL, controlled by David Lewis and Christopher Head, managed a network of approximately 40 branches across 20 countries in Europe and North Africa, accounting for annual sales of roughly £260m. The administration notices provide the companies with statutory protection from creditors for up to 10 business days.

Sunseeker International confirmed that production at its Dorset facilities remains uninterrupted. Customer orders, yachts currently under construction, and existing owner support for service and warranties will continue without disruption. The new Sunseeker Europe entity will operate directly from the company's facilities in Dorset. Andy Gawthorpe has been appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer to lead this transition.
