Suntory and Umenoyashiro Shuzo announce new beverage releases

Several Japanese beverage companies have announced new product launches scheduled for late 2026.

Suntory is expanding its lineup with multiple releases on September 29, 2026. The company will launch the “-196 Sugar-Free <Mango & Orange>” spirit, utilizing its proprietary -196°C method. Additionally, Suntory is introducing a limited edition “Yamazaki Distillery Stored Umeshu Rich Unripe Smoky 2026,” which is aged in barrels previously used for smoky malt whisky. The company is also updating its Bowmore single malt whisky range, adding “Bowmore 9 Years” to its permanent lineup and making three “Bowmore Sherry” expressions (12, 15, and 18 years) year-round products.

Umenoyashiro Shuzo will release “Umenoyashiro Aragoshi Strawberry” on October 1, 2026. This seasonal fruit liqueur, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Aragoshi series, blends Japanese sake with the juice and pulp of approximately 11 strawberries per 720mL bottle.
