Honda Prelude GT500 clinches first win and 1‑2 finish at Super GT Fuji round

On 2 August 2026 the Super GT fourth round at Fuji Speedway saw the Honda Prelude GT500 secure its first series victory, finishing 1‑2 in the GT500 class. Car No. 100 STANLEY HRC PRELUDE‑GT driven by Naoki Yamamoto (山本尚貴) and Naoto Makino (牧野任祐) took the win, while the No. 8 ARTA Prelude driven by Kaku Ohta finished second. The race began under wet conditions; a large crash involving car No. 64 triggered a safety‑car period, after which the track dried and slick tyres proved decisive.
