Honda Prelude Secures First SUPER GT Pole Position at Fuji

At Fuji Speedway, Honda achieved its first SUPER GT GT500 pole with the new Prelude GT500. Driver Kaku Ohta posted a best lap of 1:26.776 in the Q2 shootout, earning the pole for the ARTA MUGEN HRC Prelude‑GT. Honda also occupied the top three qualifying spots, with Tadasuke Makino and Koudai Tsukakoshi completing the podium. In the warm‑up session the ARTA MUGEN HRC Prelude‑GT #16 (drivers Takashi Nishi and Ren Sato) set the fastest GT500 time, confirming Honda’s strong pace ahead of the Fuji 300 km race.
