Supertalent faces judging disputes and quality criticism

The talent competition Supertalent has recently drawn attention for both its contestants and tensions within the judging panel. Mandeep Kumar Manu, an Indian resident in Croatia, advanced to the next round after performing a song in the Zagorje dialect, earning three out of four votes despite criticism from judge Davor Bilman.

Conflict also arose between judges Maja Šuput and Martina Tomčić during the performance of Gordon Falker, a German-Croatian rapper. Šuput criticized Tomčić for asking the contestant about his clothing in German rather than focusing on his singing, leading to a heated exchange.

Media criticism has also emerged regarding the show's quality. Some observers suggest that after 13 seasons, the program is struggling to find truly exceptional talent, with some performances being described as lacking the standard expected of a major talent competition.
