Supérate opens new social protection service office in Boca Chica
The Dirección de Desarrollo Social Supérate has opened a new service office in Boca Chica to expand its national presence and bring social protection services closer to local communities. The initiative follows requests from beneficiary families to reduce geographic barriers and travel requirements.
According to Director General Mayra Jiménez, Supérate currently impacts 48,207 households in the Boca Chica municipality through social protection programs and subsidies, including Aliméntate, Bono Gas, and Bono Luz. Additionally, the Aprende and Avanza educational incentives benefit 1,957 families in Boca Chica and the La Caleta municipal district.
The new office allows beneficiaries to manage administrative processes, update family data, request program information, and resolve payment-related claims more efficiently. Boca Chica Vice-Mayor Leocadia Núñez expressed support for the opening, affirming the local government's commitment to assisting Supérate's efforts.
