Supriya Sule urges extension for JNVST application deadline

Supriya Sule, a Member of Parliament from the Nationalist Congress Party (SP), has urged Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi to extend the application deadline for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) by one week.

Sule cited technical difficulties with the online registration portal that prevented many students, particularly those in rural areas, from completing their applications before the August 10 deadline. Specific issues reported include newly recognized schools being unable to register on the portal and applicants facing difficulties receiving One-Time Passwords (OTPs) during the login process.

The JNVST is an entrance examination organized by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in residential JNV schools.
