Jailer 2 character teasers released for Rajinikanth sequel

Sun Pictures has released several character teasers for the upcoming Tamil film ‘Jailer 2’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Rajinikanth. The promotional campaign has introduced new cast members, including Suraj Venjaramoodu, who will play a character named Dileep, and SJ Suryah, appearing as Bodhi Kalpak.

Rajinikanth reprises his role as Muthuvel Pandian. The sequel features an expanded cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Vidya Balan. Returning technical crew members include composer Anirudh Ravichander and cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan.

‘Jailer 2’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15, 2026.
