Suriya prepares for release of crime thriller Scene

Actor Suriya is set to release his third film of the year, titled Scene, on November 6, 2026. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film is described by Suriya as a crime thriller that incorporates the director’s signature sense of humor.

During a promotional event in Dubai on October 25, Suriya noted that the film features Nazriya Nazim and Naslen. The release follows the commercial performance of his previous films this year, Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons, which collected over 300 crores and 200 crores worldwide, respectively.

Industry observers are watching to see if Scene can achieve a gross exceeding 200 crores, which would grant Suriya the rare distinction of having three such commercial successes in a single year.
