Suriya prepares for upcoming film releases ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ and ‘Scene’

Actor Suriya is preparing for multiple film releases. The teaser for ‘Vishwanath and Sons’, directed by Venky Atluri, has been unveiled. The film, a family comedy-drama scheduled for release on August 14, 2026, follows Sanjay Vishwanath, a former international pistol shooting champion attempting a comeback while navigating an unexpected romance with a younger woman.

Additionally, Suriya’s film ‘Scene’, directed by Jithu Madhavan, is reportedly gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6 as a Diwali special. Despite recent fan concerns regarding promotional efforts and post-production delays, reports suggest a major promotional tour is planned for late October and early November, with events scheduled in Chennai, Dubai, Hyderabad, and Kochi.
