Suriya stars in upcoming Tamil film Scene

Actor Suriya is set to star in the upcoming Tamil action entertainer ‘Scene’, directed by Jithu Madhavan. During a promotional event in Dubai, Suriya noted that the film draws parallels to his previous police roles in ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ and ‘Singam’, suggesting a contrast between grounded realism and larger-than-life cinema, though he emphasized that his character, Inbaraj, is incomparable to those roles.

Produced by Zhagaram Studios, the film features a cast including Nazriya Nazim, Naslen, Anandraj, and Lal. Recent promotional updates revealed that Naslen will play a character named Eswaran. The film, which was previously referred to as ‘Suriya 47’, is described as a family entertainer and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6.

This project marks the Tamil debut for both director Jithu Madhavan and actor Naslen. It follows a successful year for Suriya, whose previous 2026 releases, ‘Karuppu’ and ‘Vishwanathan and Sons’, reportedly earned over 250 crore at the global box office.
