Surreal Brands and Samsons Cash Recall Hazardous Children's Toys

Surreal Brands announced a recall of its Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic foam sets after safety testing showed that moisture could build up pressure inside the container, causing parts to eject when opened. Three incidents were reported, two of which resulted in injuries, and the recall targets the batch marked 082025.

The UK Office for Product Safety and Standards also ordered a recall of "Squeezy Dumplings" squishy toys sold by Cardiff‑based Samsons Cash and Carry Ltd. Laboratory analysis found benzene levels of 20 mg/kg, well above the permitted limit, posing a chemical risk that can irritate the eyes, nose, throat and increase long‑term cancer risk. The toys are manufactured in China and lack identifiable batch numbers. Both recalls advise parents to stop using the products and keep them away from children.
