Suryaangasan shoulder‑stand yoga pose promoted for better blood flow and focus

India’s Ministry of AYUSH highlights the Suryaangasan (shoulder‑stand) as a comprehensive yoga posture that enhances blood circulation, flexibility, internal organ function, immunity and mental concentration. Regular practice is said to activate the purification chakras and improve venous return. Experts advise beginners to learn the pose under supervision because improper execution can cause injury. The ministry warns people with high blood pressure, neck or back problems, or hyperthyroidism to avoid the posture.

The guidance is aimed at encouraging safe incorporation of the pose into daily routines for overall health benefits.
